This is the 25th in a series of drawings dedicated to my childhood heroes, the WWE Fallen Superstars.
Gertrude Elizabeth Vachon, better known as Luna Vachon, was born and bred to live a life in the squared circle. A member of the Vachon Wrestling family, Luna was trained at the age of 16 by her stepfather Butcher Vachon, her aunt Vivian and The Fabulous Moolah. She made her WWF debut as a valet for the Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania IX. She would later feud with Michaels' former valet, Sensational Sherri and align herself with Bam Bam Bigelow as his "main squeeze".
Sadly, Vachon passed away at the age of 48 from a drug overdose in her Florida home. I will always remember her for being rather terrifying with her very unique look and overpowering personality but I thoroughly enjoyed her work in the WWF especially her time spent as a valet for Goldust.
